I’m excited to participate in the Altenew March 2025 Inspiration Challenge! For this challenge, I created an elegant easel card filled with vibrant florals, inspired by the beauty of nature and the joy of blooming where we are planted.

Design Inspiration

The inspiration for this card came from the challenge’s theme, which encouraged using lush florals and uplifting sentiments. I wanted to capture a garden bursting with life, featuring bright sunflowers, delicate tulips, and intricate butterflies. The phrase "Bloom where you are planted" resonates deeply with me, serving as a reminder to embrace growth and flourish in any circumstance.

Card Details

To bring my vision to life, I used the following:

• Floral Elements: I used the Seasonal Blooms kit, incorporating the 3D embossing folder to add texture and depth. The image was then stenciled using Fresh Dye Ink and blended with a mini ink blending tool, creating a soft yet vibrant effect.
• Ink Blending: I softly ink blended the background for a seamless look.
• Easel Card Base: This interactive design allows the card to stand upright, making it a perfect display piece.
• Embellishments: A few delicate butterflies and splashes of white ink complete the composition, adding movement and detail.

Final Thoughts

This card was a joy to create, and I love how the bold yet delicate florals complement the uplifting message. I’m thrilled to submit this piece for the Altenew March 2025 Inspiration Challenge and can’t wait to see what the talented crafting community shares!
